Well....I'm going to give Blogging a shot.....

So, I have lapsed on Brayden's babiesonline.com web page so I'm going to shoot for blogging instead.

Brayden is still loving Kindergarten and is doing very well in all areas.  He is currently learning to read and spell.  His teacher, Ms. Temple, is awesome!  I've been accepted into the Master's program at Columbia College!! I will start my classes working toward my MBA in March - I'm excited to get started! Britton will complete his Masters in Health Care Management in August 2010.

Christmas was fantastic!  We had a lot of fun with family in Oklahoma during the rare blizzard.  Santa brought a ton of great gifts for Brayden.  In his "Santa Bag" was a Nerf gun, several sets of Lego's, several Star Wars toys, The Polar Express book with a letter from Santa himself!  Grandma and Grandpa found him a Leapster Tag and several books to go along - this is a fantastic educational toy. Didj was another favorite toy Brayden received from Britton and I. Mami and Papa gave Brayden a lot of gifts also, one of his favorite was the work/tool bench complete with power tools - the best part.....it gets to stay at their house!!  Gee Gee and Kimmy D found an awesome Rudolph and Brayden sleeps with him nearly every night.  It seems as if Mickey has been retired, at least for the time being.

On Tuesday, January 10, we purchased a 2007 Chevy Colorado for Britton.  The car he was driving, my 2000 Ford Focus, was near death and was in desparte need of being replaced.  Britton found the truck he wanted, test drove it and brought it home!  This will help us pack more when we (I must) go camping :-) Below is a photo of our campsite in July 2008.

Britton is currently training for a triathlon in KC, which is in May.  He has a vigorous training program and so far has stuck with it well.  I am sure he will finish the challenge strong.  I have started my work out routine as well - my goal, is much less than my husbands, is to be toned and to have more energy.

Hopefully I will be able to keep up with blogging better than I did with Brayden's baby website.  Being that he is not a baby anymore, I thought blogging would be more fitting.  Enjoy!
